I apologize. · 1:25am Jan 24th, 2017

I apologize for the pony pov series dragging out as long as it has, and for it turning into such a convoluted mess.

I Think it's a great story and you shouldn't apologize for art.

4394282 I'm reading Jordan179's Shadowverse and he's name-dropped you twice now as a major influence. I'm planning on reading Pony POV after I finish his verse. He really liked your ideas for the collapse of G2 and 3 and the subsequent rise of G4.

Bro, dude, chili tid, man...

Do not apologize for greatness brother. :ajbemused:

Alex,

Your series is amazing. It isn't convoluted at all and I love the originality of all your ideas. Can't wait to continue reading!

I know you said getting into the nitty gritty about your pantheon wasn't something you wanted to do, and that you dislike that you 'gave into' pressure to do it, but a lot of us really enjoy that aspect. So I guess I'm trying to say that even if you're having doubts about it and not sure if it's worth it, trust us when we say that we're excited about what you've made and look forward to it. And I'll be kind of sad once this grand epic comes to a close. All in all, its been a fun ride.

All of these comments speak the truth. Complexity is not the same as convolutedness(shut up spellcheck, that's a word). And you think this has dragged out? George R.R. Martin has written about half of what you have over literally my entire life(first game of thrones book came out the year i was born). If length denied quality, no one would like Lord of the Rings. Sure, there have been some rough patches. But you greatly overestimate their impact on the story(an upshot to the level of meta in it is that it took me awhile to notice the rough spots at all, and even then they fit better than they would have in any other story type), and underestimate the fact that this sprawling epic you've created, largely by yourself(i know you had help, that doesn't change the fact that its your story), is...well, its epic. Its like Star Wars; it may take awhile to conclude, but the journey to get there is just so damn awesome that it doesn't matter. You don't owe anyone an apology for having life intervene now and again. Heck, Short Skirts and Explosions hasn't updated his main work in over 14 weeks now. Life happens, and that's ok. This is like 5 comments in one, so I'll wrap this up: this story is awesome, and so are you. You'll be in my prayers for whatever you need, and you have no need to apologize for writing, in my opinion, the best fanfiction I've ever read(and since I just refernenced SS&E, that is actually saying alot)

DON`T APOLYGISE TO MAKING ONE OF THE GREATEST FANFICTION UNIVERSES I HAVE EVER READ!

In recent months, this story has become perhaps my favorite piece of fanfiction in the world. It has definitely entered the top three. This is going to be a story that I keep going back to in the future, and has already earned a permanent place in my Kindle. Some parts may not be as strong as others, and you may not be totally satisfied with how things turned out, but I will always cherish this story, and it will continue to influence me in the future.

Dude, the POV series is one of my inspirations to keep writing! You're awesome!

Pony POV is like Kingdom Hearts. The series, not the actual thing, game, or concept. It's a lot of fun, however, it can get convoluted and sometimes very frustrating, if not infuriating for one reason or another. But that's half the fun. For all the shit I may give you, Pony POV is one of my favorite fanfics on the site due to having made me actually think. Keep doing good work.
