Just a note to my scores and scores of faithful readers (that was sarcasm):
I've developed quite a bit of artwork for Fall of the Alicorns and The Buffalo Legends, but I won't be able to post it, here or on Deviantart, until I'm home from Iran in about mid-October. I would try and put a preview here, but I can't quite get the hang of the "insert picture URL" thingamajig. I'm pretty useless with that kind of stuff. PM me if you feel like teaching this idiot how to make the magic picture box work, or if you want to see some art previews.

Because fimfiction doesn't like to host it's own images (it's a waste of space), you can't upload images directly to a comment or blog post. So you have to embed them from another site. Any picture on the internet has a URL that it can be found at. So to put a picture in a blog post or comment, you'll need to upload the image from your computer's drive to a picture-sharing website somewhere else on the internet (I use imgur.com, but there are scores of others that work fine).
Step by step:
1. Go to imgur.com
2. Upload your picture there by dragging it into the window, or uploading it from a specific location on your computer's hard drive.
3. Once your image is uploaded, you'll be taken to it's location on imgur.com. Right click the image, and hit "copy image URL"
4. On a fimfiction blog post or comment, you can either a) Click the 'insert image' button, and enter the previously copied URL as requested, or b) type [img](insert the URL here)
Method (b) is necessary when editing a comment or blog post that has already been posted, because the insert image button isn't available when you're doing that.
