    Its been ages

I did not have anything on my mind for the new chapter that was just published. I'll be honest, its been years and I forgot about this place a lot. I've been busy with life and its many ways of screwing with me so writing was the last thing on my mind. Then when I actually found some time and was cleaning out a lot of files I found the unfinished chapter and decided to work on it for whatever

    Where have I been?

I'm still here. You'll see me on now and then or practically everyday and the reason for that is the fact I have my page up in the browser at pretty much any given time. I'm still writing here and there when I have time or can't sleep but, I still have school as well so the scheduling is hectic at most.

    Life so far and Scheduling

So I've not been updating as much as readers would like and I base this off of my feelings as a reader. I'm an avid reader and just a fledgling of a writer so I can say with confidence that when a story I'm currently reading takes quite a while to update, I start having mixed feelings about it. I understand that people have their circumstances and there is nothing they can do at times but it

So many stories. So little time.

I'm finding myself with very little time to write due to things such as classes and life. So I need to put my focus on one story at a time. Which brings me to the point. I want your opinions on which story should be my focus until I find the time to work on the rest. For those that are curious, Dimming Flame is one I'll work on in between the one that'll be the focus since that one is going to

    Paradox Ending

Paradox Scholar is the very first story I really worked hard on and helped me improve my writing bit by bit. The ending to the story was left in a very ambiguous way due to my thoughts on the future of the story itself. The thought came to me as I looked at the statistics of the story. Not a lot of people actually read it and I get that it was because of it having a lot of editing errors. I'm

I'm not particularly mad about that or disappointed at all due to it being the story I used to improve myself.

The concept of the story itself is extremely interesting to me and I have written a book based on the world because of it. It's still in the process of being reworked but I plan to publish a book with the same concepts in the future. As to when or if I will make a sequel to the story, I honestly don't know myself. I feel like the story wasn't popular, at all, with despite the thirty-something people that liked it. I am working on something that could be called a sequel but it's more for my sake than anything else since I write everything on the fly which means I don't even know what'll happen next until I write it.

Will it ever see the light of day on FimFiction? Probably not. I'll just have to wait and see if there really is a demand for such a thing in the coming days. For those of you that have stayed with me throughout the time I've worked on the story, I really am grateful for everything and hope to write even better content in the future for all of you.

As always, thank you for taking the time to read any of my stories or blogs. Let me know what you guys think about whether or not there should be a sequel. I want to hear your opinions on the matter since the stories are for all of you first and foremost.

Hello. Thank you for sharing your story. I enjoyed it.

I really liked your concept, and you can see the improvement of the writing through the chapters. The characters were really getting more rounded. I would really like to know what else happens to Sunset and Spike. So... sequel please. :pinkiesad2:

I don't think you have any problems gaining a crowd if you just add it to more groups.

Although there was a "promise" you made that you didn't really fulfil. I'm pretty sure this was supposed to be a Spike x Sunset fic, but in the end we got nothing towards that.

No real development besides friendship, and that's not really what people signed up for in some aspects. In the end, they didn't really even end up being "friends", but just standoffish acquaintances through a related friend. Not really much to say there.

Thank you for the feedback. I'll take it into consideration.

It might be good to actually do the groups but that's a bit harder for me than it seems since a lot of them seem dead and I have no clue as to which would be good to add them to other than the ones I already had. As for the romance part, I know I failed to keep such a promise and I admit that even I felt disappointed in the outcome. It's hard for me to write any type of romance and that seems like a horrible excuse but it's the only one I have. I'm trying to write short stories with romance as the focus but it all just seems horrible.

If the sequel does happen then it'll add more towards that end since I don't want anyone to feel cheated out of the outcome they wanted. Though, it might not be the main focus of the story and will rarely be seen as I try to figure out how to work in romance without it seeming forced or cliche. That's the challenging part as it seems to me since all romance seems incredibly cliche nowadays.

In any case, thank you for the feedback on the story. I'll take it all into consideration.

You see, that's a thing a lot of authors have to realize.

Cliche does not mean BAD.

It's something most should think about, because it seems to stop a lot of people from writing, because they want to do something original. Cliches can be good, it's HOW yo use them that makes them great.

I guess that's true. I should be aware of it but I'm still in the mindset of having things fresh and new. But, if I continue doing that I know that I'll pretty much just burn out faster than intended. I'll take the advice to heart and see if I can come up with ways to make use of them without seemingly relying on them.

Paradox Scholar = The best story I've ever read. Sure there were minor mistakes but it was a very good story and a sequel is what I think could make both stories very good because you have to read both to understand. Great story 100/10.
