Why I haven't updated and When I will + more news

Hey everyone.

The first thing I want to do is apologize to those of you that enjoy my work. I know I haven't been updating and I promise there is a good reason for that. The second thing I'd like to do is thank everyone for being patient with me and let you all know that a new chapter will be coming out soon. With that being said, please allow me to explain myself.

My life since the last chapter I did has been one hell of a ride. I have been dealing with a horrible break up (which actually happened on my birthday), battling depression, dealing with the loss of multiple family members, sent to doctors for psychological reasons, and I almost lost my father twice in four days. On top of all of that, I have been working both a full time job and a part time job, as well as searching for an apartment to live in. All of these things have contributed to me not putting out a new chapter yet.

Don't get me wrong, there have been plenty of good moments in the past year for me as well. My life isn't all misery and sadness. I have a new appreciation for everything I have in my life, whether it's my family, my friends, or all of you. I finally found my inner peace and have been working on the next chapter in "Soldier of Truth" little by little. It's not a perfect chapter, far from it, but working on it that way has helped me in a way I can't properly describe.

Again, I can't thank y'all enough for your patience. I truly hope to have the next chapter up soon.

In other news: In addition to writing "Soldier of Truth", I have been slowly working on a different fic, one that won't be on here. It's a RWBY fic That I felt inspired to do and I will post it on my FanFiction Account when it's ready.
