So yeah. This one's an ooold mindghost of mine, which I've written small bits of but never really dared delve deeper into. The Late Clock. Even I don't know all the things it does, and I feel like every page I write about it makes me even more scared of it. I think somewhere I have this innate fear that everything I make will one day come back to haunt me. Trust me when I say that the Late Clock is the very last thing I'd like to have on my ass...
So yeah. This'll probably get darker and darker as it moves forward - I dunno how dark I can make it without crossing my own borders of comfort, but hell, I'm in for this.

In ReEN news, chapter 5 is chugging its way up to the frontline. The only problem I have is that the planned Turn-separating Interlude gizmo isn't quite doing as well, and I'm also getting half a notion to put it after chapter 5. I don't know, really. We'll see how it goes, but I hope I can have at least one of them done within a week or so.
