Edda's Complete, Next Is... · 10:21pm Sep 23rd, 2012
So, the Nátta Edda is up. What's next?
We have the Long, Dark Tunnel, which will just make people want to throw things at me, I have no doubt of. It's about 75K words. I'll post it in a week or so, I'd like to make sure there's not too many errors before I do and I'm. Just. Always very ambivalent about posting. Anyway, it also is only semi-connected to the Edda. In some ways you could almost call it a bridge, but in many ways it's a standalone. You don't have to read any of my other ridiculous stories to read this one. Which is good because it's a psychological horror.
After that we have another longer story. It will be... long but I'm hoping it won't be too long. Starlit Knights, maybe, but I don't dare making guesses. Decretum was supposed to be two hundred pages and well, we all see how that turned out. There will be much singing. It doesn't exactly have a working title yet - Decretum was called "The Black Mirror" right up until I realized I should probably give Clockwork World an actual name, hence... Decretum... - but it will be my usual hodgepodge.
Last order of business. I've been doing this for a little while now, but never shared it because I never figured anyone would be interested and I also thought it was dumb. I actually think a lot of my ideas are dumb but if I don't do what my hands tell me to, they beat me up. Horribly. They're abusive. And evil. But I... or rather "Scrivener Blooms" has a blog where he is his douchetacular self and tells people how to write. And gets abused by Luna.
So yes. Uh. I'm going to go for now. Pretty sure the large scary people in white coats are looking for me.

damnit, must complete decretum within a week now...
ah well not like school is important or anything
A... psychological horror? Oh horses of heaven, I'm not sure how much more of this I can take! I actually mean this in a good way, I love the emotional and psychological aspects of your writing in every way, and I can't wait to see what sort of roller-coaster (if that term can be properly applied) it turns out to be.
