Going to be putting a big push on to get the trial finished off by Xmas in one or two chapters starting this weekend. I may go with a single, double-length chapter for the climax. Some questions remain with me, Leo and others offering up different proposals for that climax, but fear not--we'll work it out. We always do.
Does the story end with the trial? No. There will be a couple chapters left plus an epilogue, though the latter will probably wait until I have the first chapters of the T&T-based sequel written. For clop fans, two major scenes remain plus a couple minor ones. One of the major scenes you can probably guess at, the second you never will. A hint? Let's just say that The Nightmare isn't the only one who needs a bit of a comeuppance. 
As the story and trial wind down I'd like to thank everyone who stayed with it the whole way. As this ended up more than double the length I originally intended and went some surprising places as well, I know I shed some readers along the way. Thanks for giving the story and ship a chance no matter which plot you were here for--the real or figurative one! I tried to write a story that was as interesting and immersive as it was erotic, and I like to think I did it justice--with help from Leo and others like AJ_Aficionado, James CyberLink, SilentWoodFire, ClaytonTheHunter, and early on, EbonHaste.
It's been controversial, and it's been heavily downvoted for the ship alone. But as I said up front: no apologies and no regrets. It spawned a promising side story (Rise of Firefly) and quite handily built on all the worldbuilding and character development I originally did in Turnabout Storm. It's overall been a blast to work on, and as this is now book length, I'm half-thinking I could turn into oneI Wonder how it would sell...?

I'd buy Rise of Firefly for sure. This story is pretty good too, but you've scored YUGE with the Tulip Vale character. She's freaking awesome! Definitely waifu material.
After this is done, where will you be focusing your effort?
