Hello World

Alright since my first story will be uploaded soon I'm going to take some time to introduce myself for anyone visiting this page. It's going to be long and awkward, but the only way to get past the first blog post is to make the first blog post.

You can call me Light, and I like to write about magical ponies. I didn't exactly intend to become a brony, neither am I fanatical about the subculture, but I do enjoy the show and the MLP universe (why else would I write about it?).

I like to write dark/sad/drama stories mainly, exploring the emotional aspects of the characters and how they interact with one another. That being said, I'm open to writing all sorts of stories, even though they might not be my forte.

My big project that I've been working on for almost a year is called "Shattered Sun". It's currently about ~120k words (will be 300k+ when complete) that follows an alternate timeline where Sunset Shimmer didn't take Twilight's crown through the portal (thus, equestria girls never happened). Instead, she finds herself in Manehattan which hangs on the brink of civil war between rival gangs. The story is a dark/drama that follows Sunset on her journey of self discovery.

That being said, I'm going to hold off on publishing it until I'm 100% confident that I've done a good job. In the meantime I'll be writing some non-related short stories to establish myself on the site. If anyone would be interested in proofreading I would much appreciate it, I've been working alone on everything up to this point.

Even though I've been lurking on this site since 2013, I'm still learning how these settings work. I'll make my page look cooler at some point, but in the meantime it's just going to have to look woefully blank.

Oh, and one more thing. Sunset Shimmer is best pony, just in case you haven't noticed!
