    Whitewater

    Hey everyone,

The first chapter of my new story "Whitewater" should be available soon. This is a blog post with some FAQ and general thoughts on the project. I will do blog posts for all my stories, and even for some individual chapters if I feel they're important enough.

    General Info?

    Hello World

Alright since my first story will be uploaded soon I'm going to take some time to introduce myself for anyone visiting this page. It's going to be long and awkward, but the only way to get past the first blog post is to make the first blog post.

Hey everyone,

The first chapter of my new story "Whitewater" should be available soon. This is a blog post with some FAQ and general thoughts on the project. I will do blog posts for all my stories, and even for some individual chapters if I feel they're important enough.

General Info?
Whitewater is a romance-themed mystery/dark mini-novel about two ponies' dysfunctional relationship in the town of Whitewater. There are several clues within each chapter about what's going to happen next. I'm all for discussing theories in the comments, but don't blatantly spoil it if you've already read the next chapter.

Inspiration?
The story was majorly influenced by the TV shows: Black Mirror and Westworld, although my story is not a crossover. Being familiar with these shows is absolutely not necessary to enjoy the story, but it will give you somewhat of an edge in solving the "mystery".

Tags?
I had a lot of trouble choosing tags for the story, largely because they have the potential of ruining the mystery. Also, I'm not entirely sure if I wanted to make it mature or not. I have the sex scenes written, but it's still debatable if they are absolutely necessary for telling the story. I might just end up making it mature simply for the fact that the subject matter is very complex at its core. If that ends up being the case, I'll probably just include the sex scenes, because why not? I'm starting with teen rating, then perhaps changing to mature later on.

As for character tags. Again, I'll add them as they become relevant.

Why Starlight?
Well, honestly she wasn't my first choice. The issue was that all of the main 6 have very well defined personalities which would make it hard to fit them into the main role as I envisioned it. Starlight's personality is more malleable, and her "tragic" backstory is a useful tool for me to work with. After going back and re-watching her episodes in season 6, I realized she would be absolutely perfect for my story.

Where are the Sunset Shimmer stories? I thought she was best pony?!?!
Shattered Sun (part 1) is for the most part, complete. Going into the editing stage, I was feeling completely overwhelmed with the sheer size of the project and decided to put it on hiatus while I worked on side-projects. I hope to start releasing those chapters, edited and complete, once I'm finished with Whitewater. I just hate working under pressure, especially when its something that I'm just doing for fun.

Steam Punk?
My lovable, socially inept OC. I don't usually like using OC's unless they are absolutely necessary to the story, and you will find out later on why that is. He IS a unicorn, despite what the cover art may lead you to believe. I just won't have the opportunity to fix it until I'm back home after the holidays, and I couldn't resist releasing the story a few days early!

Wow, I can really write a lot if left unchecked. Just go read the story now!
