Here's a little something for the upcoming holiday, by Vector-Brony and Scribbler Productions.
Looking back over the month, I realized that virtually every blog I have done has been an Afterthoughts talking about one of the recent episodes. There are two left for me to give my thoughts on – “Top Bolt” and the season finale “To Where and Back Again” – both of which I will be writing up soon. However, I realize that I have been neglecting news related to Fallout: Equestria. And there have been a lot of wonderful fan works to share this last month. Especially coming out of Stable-Tec Studios!
I will showcase a lot of what Stable-Tec Studios has been doing below the break. But first, I want to give a special thank you and shout-out to the amazing Alexandr and any bronies who are helping him in creating this amazing Fallout: Equestria side-scroller game!
Alexandr has released the alpha version of the game, which can be downloaded directly here. The game is really impressive and a lot of fun to play. Each time you play, the game generates a 4 x 6 room map, with the first two rooms being nearly identical each time but the others being random. You start at the top left corner of the structure, and rooms get harder as you drop down. Even after many hours of gameplay, I am still discovering new weapons, perks, room types and enemies. I loved all the tactics and tricks that I've been learning to handle various rooms and monsters. Littlepip's telekinesis gives the game a cool twist, and building up your TK with various perks really opens up some fun options.
Being still in the alpha stage of development, the game currently lacks the ability to save or an overall goal beyond exploring the area generated. The game gives no experience points; instead, your character progresses by finding books and memory orbs which grant you perks. Many perks have multiple levels. (Science has up to three levels, for example. And Firearms has up to five.) Here is an example of what your Littlepip could look like at the end. Right now, death is only implemented as accruing levels in the "Corpse" perk.
I finally managed to get through all twenty-four rooms in a playthrough without dying today. Here is my Corpse-free endgame Littlepip. (Side note: it is obnoxiously hard to get through the lower floors without having managed to find a single Lockpicking book or orb.)
The game was featured on Equestria Daily here.
Also before the break, I give you a really cool and creepy new piece of Fallout: Equestria inspired music. Perfect for late October, this is "Welcome to Arbu (They Are What They Eat)" by Stable Two Stallion!
Stable-Tec Studios has been really busy this last month.
They started just over a month ago by putting out the breathtaking, five-movement "Verismo" composed by James Kelly for the "Confessions of a Wasteland Pony" series. (The link will take you to the music. The beautiful cover art for the piece, done by DarkSittich, is the bottom art for the blog.)
Since then, they have put out a new song by SkyBolt based on "The Humbling River" by Puscifier for Fallout Day!
Additionally, they have put up the animatic for the first episode of the animated series that they have been diligently working on.
And they have put out the fourth and fifth chapters of their enhanced version of the Fallout: Equestria audiobook. Fo:E fans, if you haven't checked this out yet, you owe it to yourself to give it a listen!
Of course, there is so much amazing fan creations that I cannot possibly showcase them all. (I really wish I could! And I'm sorry for everyone that I miss.) If there are any you know of that you would like to make sure get attention, please link them in the comments below!

That game is awesome!
Wow, thanks for bringing up the game! I'll have to give it a play when I have a chance.
Now that's neat!
So, Kkat, how does it feel to have created something that has inspired so many others?
Cool stuff.
YES! When I first found that game it was ALL in Russian...which, surprise, makes having fun kind of hard when you have no idea what the hell you're doing. That's a lot of cool shit from this fandom, gonna go check it all out.
Some of the Russian brony also want to create a 3D FoE show. Kinda like RBWY. Although I doubt that they able to do this...
holy shit the art is amazing
I really want to play the game so badly! The Art and stuff is awesome to! And the little part of the animated series was cool to.
4273291 I Wish to play any/all the FoE games that come to be, but sadly I do not usually have internet access or my computer runs so slow that it doesn't play. I usually play on the Nintendo 3DS

Probably a similar feeling to having your fan work featured in the source material. Which actually happened to Kkat!
Sempai noticed us!
(Act cool, James. Act cool) Oh, it was no biggy. It just comes naturally and definitely doesn't take hours upon hours of beating myself up to create music for a universe I love. No... definitely not...
(But thank you. Everything else looks really cool so well done everyone!)
Seriously... just. the shear amount of FOE stuff still being made is so damn amazing....... you really made something amazing Kkat.
>> Allen_Paluszewski you need a gaming computer to runs most games now a days. Now a days you need about 8 gbs of ram on graphics card and alot of storage space. And with new games coming out that need a specific card within a computer to work. But I do plan on getting a job because I need a gaming computer so I can do skype, twitch, games, and fallout equestria rps with a friend of mine on facebook.
