I'm still alive!

So, yeah. It totally just occurred to me today that I haven't been on Fimfiction in a little over two weeks now for no good reason other than the fact that I waiting to hear back from my editor. At this point I think it's safe to say that he probably just rage quit on me, and you all have a right to know what probably brought this on.

Here's the last message I sent to him concerning New Beginnings:

Actually, I just got a completely new idea about how I can make this all work out. I'm scrapping the story as it is, and I want to retell it from a different perspective entirely. First of all, they're humans now. As far as the story goes, what I came up with was having it start with Dash and Flutters being married and they have a child named Misty (as I'm sure the fandom would have her called). Misty asks Rainbow why she and Fluttershy love each other so much even though they're both mares. Rainbow tells her the story about when they first discovered their feelings for each other, and the story launches in. Instead of having the characters at their current show age, they'll be in their early years of high school, around the time when sexual urges and attractions kick in for most people. The story will probably be told from fluttershy's POV this time, rather than Rainbow's. They both need to come out of the closet, so it might as well be best pony--I mean Fluttershy. So, yeah. I'll just put a blog up about that as soon as I have the first chapter written and approved and I've deleted the original story.

So, there you go. I'm going to completely scrap the story and repost it with a new little spin. Hopefully that strikes a chord with more people, and I can manage to keep it PG for once!
