A Little Retcon

If you read the latest chapter of Quantum Gallop (#8) very soon after I posted it, you might not be aware of a small but significant retcon that I did of the changeling character who was caught up in the team's escape to the past. Steady Gaze is now Sterling Shield. If you have read my other stories, you will know the significance of that name. I have a lot in store for him.

Time travel stories are, by definition, retcons. Frankly, if there were no consequences for time travel stories, it would be more like a serial TV series episode where nothing ever changes from eeek to week, like the original Star Trek. I prefer shows like Babylon 5 where changes in cast and character affect future events. Makes the story arc more interesting,
