I took a nap after I got home today. I didn't mean to but I took the wrong allergy medication. I have one for emergencies and another for common use. The emergency one causes drowsiness and so I couldn't stop myself from napping after work. It wasn't a long nap, only about three hours long, but it contained a rather strange dream.
Usually, my dreams are short and change rather frequently within themselves. It's rare that I ever dream about anything violent. However, this dream was excessively violent. At the beginning of the dream, the world seemed to end. With the world ending my dream self decided to take it upon himself to going on a killing spree. This was mostly obtained through throwing molotovs at cars and people, burning buildings and houses. It seems the world had not been ending after all, as I was caught by Walmart security. Yes, Walmart security.
Near the time I woke up I was being questioned by the Walmart security, though, I don't really know how I got to a Walmart in the first place. The damage I had caused had led to other people rioting. Security was pulled away and I managed to escape. As I fled, I burned all the security and the front entrance to the Walmart. I seemed to be causing the end of the world all on my own.
I don't dream things like that. If I'm the evil doer then it usually means I'm conquering not killing. I am unsure why that was my dream, I have to assume it was the medication. Dreaming about killing is rare for me since I've been so desensitized to death just from the corners of the internet that I browse. Perhaps it's just that time of year.
That, or it could be because of what I'm in the middle of writing. Spooky.
