New Story: The Alicorn Problem

I've decided to finally publish something instead of holding onto it for eons out of fear of it being terrible. I've got to stop letting doubts and perfectionism cease my progress. Can't get better if there's no feedback.

So, here's the first chapter of this shortish story. My previous blog post was about this story. It follows three different viewpoints, and a variety of solo viewpoints. The three mains are Moon Dancer, Twilight Sparkle, and Sunset Shimmer.

The basic premise is that a society is trying to improve magic in the world, though they're causing problems. Moon Dancer is a member in the first chapter. Twilight doesn't like what the society is doing since she feels it's wrong to keep things a mystery from the most powerful rulers in Equestria. Sunset Shimmer shows up later to help. Tirek is there too.

For those of you who followed me from TWoAPW, this Sunset Shimmer is in fact the same one from that story. It's not really a sequel, and not reading TWoAPW will not affect readers in any way. If you did read it, maybe you'll see something in The Alicorn Problem that you'll recognize.

I've been feeling really awful ever since the finale of FiM. I haven't really wanted to write anything for fanfics. I did not like these last few seasons. But as I was editing these first few chapters, I felt confident in my story telling, and I'm getting really into this fic.

Anyways, I'm rambling. Enjoy the story. It'll update fairly often, and every chapter isn't that long.
