I'm going to keep this short, because rehashing my regrets is about the last thing I need right now.
Most of my readers weren't satisfied with the ending. The truth is, neither was I, but I published it anyway.
So this is more of a canvassing post, if nothing else, but over the past week or so, I put together this in between while working on other things.
I guess what I'm asking is whether I should continue with it or not.

My chances of making it to Everfree Northwest this year are slim, and getting worse by the day. The same can be said about, well, most other conventions short of this weekend's Genericon.
...And a coworker opened a box of grapes, only for this creepy little fucker to jump out.

WOW! I had to deal with them fuckers when I was stationed at Camp Pendleton in Southern California. Not something I would want to bite me. You can get REALLY sick from the bite, and even die in some cases.
Scary thought to have one of them jump out at ya...

if i saw that i would grab the nearest flame based weapon with a range of over 1 meter (assuming i can't find a genuine weapon-grade flame-thrower nearby; a can of pressurized gas and a lighter should do) and burn it and the grapes from a distance over at least 5 minutes, and then proceed to stomp on it for 5 more minutes, and finally NEVER eat grapes again. i don't like spiders...

I did see one almost that big once, which is surprising, since I live in New England.
I was getting out of the car at around midnight or so, and when the front light turned on, I saw it under the car. It must've been a wolf spider, since nothing else can grow that big where I live. I'd say it was almost a half-foot long, legs included. The thing in your picture is probably a good two inches bigger, though.
And of course, the first thing that came to mind when I saw this thing under the car was: "COOL!". So I got down on my knees and leaned down to get a better look at it.
Yeah, I'm kinda weird like that. What can I say, I genuinly like spiders. I'm the same with other "normal" phobias too. I like heights, and lightning doesn't scare me at all. But put a wasp anywhere near me and i'll freak. Those damn things scare the crap out of me.
And so we're sitting here at a brony fan ficiton sharing site ...
