Been watching Kuroko no Baske

I've going to be writing a one-shot for that . Been thinking on it for a while, and I really want to pair my favorite character form that show, Kagami Taiga, with someone from EqG.

Calling it either "Kagami has a WHAT?!" or "Kagami's Colorful Girlfriend."

Thoughts? Have any of you guys ever watched KnB? What girl do you think I should choose?

Now the normal choice wold be Fluttershy, but I say you twist it up a bit and go with Rarity; the prim and posh fashionista with the miracle who was not a miracle. That or perhaps EqG Twilight, the nerdy girl having had a relationship with Kagami before he moved and leaving her alone at Crystal Prep.

It's weird that I'm seriously contemplating Rarity. I'm not a Rarity kind fo guy, but I do find her character enjoyable, and the idea of the challenge... It's a thought.

Hmm, what about characters like: Photo Finish, Sunny Flare & Lemon Zest (They come in a pair to me) or... Indigo Zap?

I like using characters that aren't used often. I can think of so many possibilities. Even with Rarity and SciTwi. I can't stop imagining SciTwi failing to try and shoot and basketball, and Kagami helping. Then she'd get all flustered, and my mind just goes "WRITE IT!".

I could see SciTwi trying to shoot a basket, totally air balling it, and Kagami snatching it, dunking it, and acting like that was the plan all along. Now to be fair some of the other characters like the ones you listed above would be interesting to see with Kagami, but to me it would seem a bit odd as I figured the point of the story would be everyone (On both sides) reacting to Kagami dating this girl. Any girl would work for Kagami, but for the EqG side it would be a little strange as you wouldn't expect everyone to be gathered around listening to the girl talking about her boyfriend unless it was the close nit group. But hell, if you can make it work, go ahead.
