Day 29: Future Plans · 1:00pm Sep 29th, 2016

With only two days remaining until the end of September, it's time I explain my plans for the future as I continue the battle between this, school work, and actual labor.

In Progress
The New Timeline chapter “Where is Thy Sting” is currently over two thousand words. Unfortunately, due to school work, it won’t be released on it’s intended due date (September 30/October 1st). While the Season 6 finale has been announced, I want it to be like that of the chapter “One Shall Rise” and go with a large band before putting it on hiatus.

Definitely Happening
Vacant Niches: Continuing from The Rubicon, you are a newcomer from Florida ready to expect a typical school day at Canterlot High… Until you are proven wrong in your first Fall Formal. Fortunately, some sharks want you in their pod. I plan to have at least the first arc done by Halloween (Pretty self-explanatory if you read the Rubicon all the way), but maybe a little more if I can.

May Happen (If free time allows)

Jet Force Gemini: For those who don’t know what this is, “Jet Force Gemini” is a third person shooter by Rareware (Banjo Kazooie, Golden Eye 64 etc.) where you shoot ants and beetles with rocket launchers and rescue small teddy bears. To date, there hasn’t been a crossover fic. I propose a first person crossover with Flash Sentry as Juno and Trixie as Vela. I’m still deciding on who will play the character Lupus, a dog with a gun on his back.

Rayman the Great Escape: Same reasons as above. Scootaloo would be a great candidate for Rayman (or Raymare if you are suave).

Titan AE: Seeing as I have made an adaptation of “The Land Before Time,” it’s fitting that I do an adaptation to another Don Bluth Film. But rather than make it a complete word to word film, I would have it in media res, as our heroes from the film continue to search for The Titan.

The Pagemaster: I’m surprised that we are well past the episode “Read it and Weep” and I’ve yet to see an adaptation of the film (Or maybe there was, it’s been removed since the author left). I mean really, consider it an alternate universe version of said episode; Rainbow Dash gets caught in a thunderstorm and has to seek refuge in a library (Not Twilight’s mind you). One bad accident and she… Well, you get the picture.

The Lass who Loved the Sailor (HMS Pinafore): This may require me to find a co-writer. Now, I’ve read musical fan fictions and seen their Youtube Adaptations, it’s just that Pinafore hasn’t been adapted into MLP form. As a whole, it’s in public domain, but even then I’m not sure that the lyrics to a copyright expired number would be allowed. I could incorporate it as dialogue (“Bride of Discord” did that with its musical numbers). I’m thinking of it as a Rarispike fiction, just need to find a full version of the play (that is, with the dialogue between songs).

Sharknado/Lavalantula Equestria: As I’ve mentioned, sooner or later someone’s going to write an alternate story involving a doomsday theory involving Gaia Everfree actually winning. Can our famed Shark Slayer and Police Actor join forces to end the conflict of both?

The Thief and the Cobbler: Based on the original cut of the animated film, maybe as a children's play glorified by Discord.

Last but not least for this section, an idea has spawned from a picture Stardust_Shadow shared in a blog post, whose source can be traced here

It got me thinking: Seven She Demons, Seven Continents on Earth. A potential to be my first (if the story regarding the Parentverse isn’t made first) mature fiction with plenty of gore and swearing!

My only question to you…

WHO WILL RULE NEW URTH!?

Very Little Chance (At the Moment)

Rainbow Rocks/Friendship Games: I do have the premise down, short description and long description. But with “Equestria Girls: The Rubicon” finished on a high (somewhat) and with me going to write “Vacant Niches” soon, the one true fear of making a midquel to already established stories would be in the way (some aspects of “do and don’t” are obvious). The one, okay two, silver linings for it to be on my list is 1) If I add the stories as one complete anthology in Fanfiction.net and 2) My tendency to expand things that are glossed over in the movie (the tournament, and the third challenge in the Friendship Games).
