That Avi Nerd

I find it fitting that I enjoy writing, since my last name is Ward. "The Old Gaelic surname derives from "Mac an Bhaird" ("son of the Bard"). A bard being a story teller or poet." - Surname meaning.

    So...

... I know I've been in and out, and everything's been tough. But how's everyone been doing? Who's still around?

    SITREP - September 7th, 2016

I'll cut to the chase, but I've posted this already on The Four Horses. Here's my envisioned plan for the coming months: Unfortunately within 30 days I'm going to be moving and my military life as I know it is getting uprooted and replanted elsewhere. I don't know anyone there, and I don't know what the work tempo will be like. All I know is that I'll be traveling all over the world on a

    SkyBorn Teaser

Just a small bit from what I've written tonight, which by the way was nearly 1,000 words. So go me! Huzzah! This is meant to encourge me as well as peak all your interests, and maybe keep us all going on this project. Enjoy!

    Surprise!

Well well well, I'll bet some of you weren't expecting this to appear in your feeds. But, yes, I'm alive, alas. I've been away from the writing scene for a long, long while now. Honestly, some stuff went down and I was battling myself, so you all unfortunately fell into the background. But I digress! I received my favorite book in the mail this past week, Airborn (to those of you who know

    Hiatus

Yes, the word I know you all hate.

Regardless, don't expect me to write much in the next few weeks. As of tomorrow, my flight leaves Raleigh North Carolina, bound of home :)

All I know is that I'll be traveling all over the world on a monthly basis. That being said, I don't know how available I will be to write. I haven't been the last few weeks alone simply to get ready for this change. However, if I see an opprotunity I'll try to get a tablet to enable me to write on-the-go.

In the mean time I'm going to try to get SkyBorn as complete as possible. I should be reaching the climax in the next chapter or so, and then it's not long until the end after that. I'd say the story has maybe about 5 chapters left; roughly over a month of solid working if I write diligently. After that, I'm going to turn my attention to The Four Horses. This inspiration was brought up because of a conversation between a friend and myself, and it reminded me of how much I enjoy the lore behind them. That, and rereading it, I perceive it personally to be some of my best writing. That story was after-all supposed to be one of my peak stories. Hopefully. But that's not really a goal you can purposefully aim for.

I would like to thank you all for your dedication, support, and most importantly patience.
Ever Loyally,
-Sam.
