    Anniversary

I'd like to thank you all for following me as I celebrate my second anniversary on FIMFiction. It was eight years ago today, 29 February 2016, that I created my account (though for some reason my account now reads 1 March 2016). I've enjoyed my time writing on this site and look forward to putting out more work in the future. Thank you all and happy Leap Day!

    V/R,

    2023 Wrap-Up

    Happy New Year's Eve!

I've been reflecting on 2023, and to be honest, it's been exhausting! Over the past year, I:
    1) Completed 28 weeks of military training.
    2) Moved from the West Coast to the East Coast.
    3) Written 10 papers.
    4) Attended 4 conventions (BABSCon, TrotCon, Everfree Northwest, GalaxyCon Columbus)
    5) Published 3 stories.
    6) Drove over 9,000 miles.

    2023 Updates

Well, it's been a long time since I posted a blog. Three years, three months and nine days to be exact. Yeah, I'm not really for blogging. I don't feel the need to clutter up your notification box with details from my life. However, I do post when I have news to announce, such as today.

Good Evening,

Well, I'm finally back at FIM Fiction! I won't bore you with details of my training, but it was long and hard. I now have a new position, which is exciting. I feel like my new position is actually important and not just part of the beauracary. However, there is one downside. I went from 40 hours/5 days a week to 60 hours/6 days a week. Thus my time for writing has gone from 20-30 hours a week down to 10 or less. So, until my time in this position is done, my writing will slow. Not cease, just slow. However, I remain as committed as ever to my writing, and I wanted to give y'all an update:

Dreams of the Heart. By far my most popular story. I've been working on Part II since June. I've written and rewritten it at least a dozen times, but now I think I've found a format that I'm satisfied with. I've started rewriting it and hope to have it published within the next month or two.

Lost Pegasus. I had Chapter 2 written before my departure, but didn't have time to polish it. I'm satisfied with it, and have just published it. I'm working on the next few chapters and will try to publish a new chapter every month. As this story is a writing lab for me (hence no editor), I don't obsess over every word like I do Dreams of the Heart. Not to say that it's a lower quality of work, just a different aim. But whereas I have planned out the next twenty chapters of Dreams in excruitiating detail, I have only a rough sketch of Lost Pegasus. I know the plot, but allow myself to freewrite and create the story as I go along. Very different writing process.

Other than those, I've written a new story that I hope to publish in the next week or two and have started some other projects. Check back for further developments.

Keep Writing (You know I have),

Dreadnought

Welcome back! :pinkiehappy:

I've been waiting for you for weeks now. I've kinda run into a kink in the writing process on the collab, so while you were gone, I went ahead and published several new stories, founded a group, and started another collab at the same time as working on a different one that's run by me and the admins of my group.
