It's Just More Entertaining

You know, after all this time, I'd still rather watch Countess Coloratura sing "The Spectacle" than see Rara perform "The Magic Inside". It's a matter of taste, of course, but to me, the songs and the performance of "The Spectacle" is just off-the-charts more entertaining. I'd much rather see that concert.

Do you think that story ought to be Teen rather than Everybody? My take on it was that it really wasn't too much more explicit than your average old-style fairy tale, but I could definitely understand the arguments for a Teen rating. I'm asking because a reader says that's his only real complaint with the story.

Well, I'm afraid I haven't actually read the story yet, but according to the second spoilered section from the relevant comment:

This is in no way an E rated story, as the rather descriptive drinking habits, morbid descriptions of the corpses, and murder. Are just a few things that should move the rating up.

If that really is accurate to your story, I'd personally also say to go with a Teen rating, based on what the Tag Information page says about the Everyone rating:

Everyone stories should be appropriate for general audiences. They should include no content that a parent would find objectionable for a child. The general idea here is “things that would be reasonable to see on the show itself.”

I just don't see any of those things reasonably appearing in an episode...
