Comic Con Costume Capers Concluded

So Frome Comic Con has come and gone, and I have to say...

could have been better.

I had a good time, me and my my mates all dressed up, I was Harry, we had The Leanansidhe, a Green Plastic Army Man, Darth Revan from KOTOR, and generic pirate, but the con itself was really poorly organised, and a lot of the stuff wasn't where it was on the map or was massively underwhelming, the costume contest had no lights, no judges, and was in a bar located behind another bar, and I heard tell that the organiser was massively overwhelmed putting the whole thing together.

Pulled two nice pieces of swag from it though: a fun little graphic novel called Gutter Magic, and a copy of Viewtiful Joe which I've been meaning to get for a while.

Hopefully, if it comes back, next year it'll be better.

Viewtiful Joe is a great game. Can wholeheartedly recommend the sequel as well, if you ever spot a copy.

Really a damned shame Capcom has let the whole series rot—although how they treated Metal Gear and Silent Hill of all series, I guess it might have been a mixed blessing.

Still, pity to hear the con was badly organized. Glad to hear you had fun, at least.
