Clearing Out My Gdocs Folder · 4:26am Aug 11th, 2016
Some of you might be wondering where the heck the story linked to the blog came from.
I don't blame you.
See, a little more than a year ago, Jumbled Thought asked if I'd like to throw in on his CYOA fic: Monster's Curse. I said yes. To be frankly honest, that wasn't the best idea on my part. It took me a while to finish up, and by time I did, Monster's Curse had been out for a while and Jumbled was on other projects and dealing with life stuff. The reason it took me so long was because of my own other projects, and the fact that I have a serious write-on for adventure stuff, being a old school Dungeon Master. But during that write time, it really threw me off my groove by being so different than my other pone stuff. If you've followed me long enough, you might remember the period where I was publishing jack nothing and updating at a glacial pace...
Tame's adventure in a cursed castle also really scratched that old DnD nerve in a bad way and I kept adding more and more to it. Plus the monster girl sex represented a challenge...
Either way, the doc started gathering dust in my gdoc folder. Months later, I started posting stuff to my Fuzzy Fables collection, but this was one of those things that was just far too big for that. Recently, however, Jumbled gave his thumbs up to post this and simply add it on as a sequel. So here we are.
Funny thing is, it's not the only thing still in the digital dustbin. I have a few other things that have never seen the light of day still in there, and I'm looking into bringing them out at some point soon, if for no other reason than not having to worry about them any more or working on them forever while I should be working on other stuff.
If CYOA isn't you thing, I don't blame you for passing it up. It's not what I normally write and I may well have totally screwed up, but I encourage you to take a read, if for no other reason than my need to describe a hallway and few rooms where the OC dies a hell of a lot. And gets laid too, at least once.
Stay classy.
