It's 2am on Thursday, and I have an idea for NEW Pinkie Pie Loves Bacon Bits content. (plus ARTPOSTING#3)

I woke up with a fully formed idea for a new chapter in my silly anthology of scenes where Sunset Shimmer is haunted by pony!Pinkie lodged DEEPLY in my mind and I think I'm going to write it. I'm in a writerly mood. Apparently.

So I wanted to check in and let the other ghosts around here know I ain't dead yet. Neither Time, the Rona, the insurrectionist, nor the hedge fundies have got me. I've actually been pretty active since I last checked back in over here. Mostly in the art front, and with a lot of stuff I can't link here, but I do have a couple things I can spew forth:

Starting back in Novemeber (god, how is that ONLY 3 months ago?!) I gave myself a project. I wanted, on a weekly bais, to update the profile image I used on most of my media sites, with my own work, using my own character. Previously, I was rocking this cute lil' face:

But it was looking dated, and I'd improved in a lot of ways that I wanted to show off, plus I WAS feeling a little combative about people shitting on the holidays, valid reasons or not, and I wanted to show off the joy the season gave me at a time when we all needed some of that energy.

Here's 8 weeks of updates, taking me up through the new year.

I learned how to do food, cloth textures, colored semi-transparent glass, semi-transparent fluids, ceramics, glitter, enamel, gold and plastics. I also got hella good at lips, which ,let me tell you adds up to a lot of millage on the NSFW side of things. But drawing Oda's face wasn't the only thing I did.

I also drew a Christmas Elf with a GUN.

And I drew some other stuff.

The most recent of which is this cute ass dress for a phone background that I loaded down with a lot of character lore and world building and shit. Which I am in the process of writing up into its own short Original Fiction scene.

Anywho, if you made it this far past me faffing off, my idea for this new Pinkie Loves Bacon Bits content is Sunset loses her mall sushi job and in desperation, turns back to an old skill set in order to make rent. It's time to address the agenda in the room: Sunset needs 1) Be Gay and 2) Do Crimes.

I quite like the elf assassin, to say nothing of the material experiments. Honestly, past a certain point, I just smile and nod at all the artistic techniques I don't know, but I'm glad to see you've been, you know, doing things. Looking forward to the next installment of Bacon Bits.
