No chapter this week and a proposed solution to my inconsistency. · 1:52am Aug 8th, 2016
Alright, I'm done with this shit. I've fought for years to get where I am and I've been doing everyone a huge disservice with my half-assed attempts to post on time. I have a good excuse, but I'm not going to use it, you guys deserve better.

Here's my solution to the problem. Starting tomorrow as soon as I wake up and go about my morning routine, I'm writing. Nonstop. And I'm going to do that until Friday. I've got an outline readied up, I know where the story is going to go, and I'm going to make a backlog for two very specific reasons.
1. Mechanical Engineering is a degree that you dedicate 75% of your waking life to. That doesn't leave a lot of time to write horse words, so my plan is to make a comprehensive backlog for the entire rest of Volume 2 BY THE END OF NEXT WEEK. Can I do it? Yes. Without a doubt. However, willing myself to do something this drastic is a bit harder. I'm not the most accountable person sometimes, so I've got a lot of potential to screw this up, but I want to do this for me and for you guys.
2. This is going to allow me to post on a regular basis. And no, I don't mean regular being 'oh some time this weekend,' by regular I mean literally every Friday afternoon at 5 PM give or take an hour. It'll keep the story alive, pressure off my back, and it will keep you guys interested. Plus, remember how Memoirs is in print? Well, I can most likely have the book ready to print by Christmas. (And who knows, if I've got the resources I could possibly do signatures if you guys want, I'm up for whatever.)
I'll be doing daily blog posts (probably at midnight) with details of the day. Basically, I'm going balls to the wall on this one, I've got to get as much high quality fanfiction ready to go as I can. Accountability and statistics tracking are the two biggest motivators for me, so I'll try to be as detailed as possible. This is going to be one hell of a ride, but I know I can get through it. If I know I've got a crowd cheering me on, I've got a reason to do this.
