Okay, even as I write this I'm thinking of all sorts of reasons and advocate responses to what I'm about to talk about.
Item one is changing names. Yes, it's a pet peeve of mine, changing names. Too many, it would be a mark of renewal, a new path being taken. For me however, it's just allowing me to forget everything about you because I can't remember what your old name was. To fix this, people could at least mention what their old name was, mostly in the blog post that changed their name. Otherwise, how am I meant to care what you say.
Obviously, I followed you for a reason, but remembering that reason is linked to your name and stories. If one deletes their stories and changes their name without giving an idea of who they were before... well then, I guess I have no reason to be following you.
No reason to follow you? There is a reason, so just because I can't remember things well... just please, leave clues somewhere. It helps. I want to remember who all you guys are, and I can't do that if people constantly change their name.
The next thing is this sensitivity to spoilers.
I get it! I really do! We don't want the points of a good story ruined for us, simply because most of us are in it for the ride. However, when I go somewhere to share a preview, a preview approved by the original publishers, and it gets removed because it counts as a spoiler?
Ha! Sorry, I don't care what anyone thinks here because the authority is in the publisher deciding that the preview has nothing in value when it comes to the plot! Thus, it isn't a spoiler! If some one thinks it is, then I have no obligation to respect that simply because the higher authority knows better... usually. Pro's and Con's depending who you are talking about.
Extremes aside, and still holding on to the desire to be respectful, I'll still not post anything that may be considered "spoiler" outside of my own sources. That's my gift of saying, "Hey, I don't really understand why you think that way, but I'll sacrifice still."
Ya, I think that's all...
TL:DR
If you change your name, leave clues so I can stalk you still.
If you consider publisher approved previews as spoilers, then why are on on theeeee interneeets?
Despite my rant and extreme opinion, I still desire to respect others.
