    Silver Scepter Saves the Story

Given that Starswirl's Wish is a spiritual successor to A Noise in the Closet, I must say the fact that a three year buffer exists in both circumstances can't be purely coincidence. And that's because it's not. The majority of this absence is self-inflicted, but I must say am I happy to be back.

    Hello, It's Been Awhile

I am a little surprised I'm here actually. Time has sure treated me differently these last couple years...but I suppose what is more important to y'all is an update.

To the two people it concerns

I will be going against a thing I said in the past. I will be returning to Fanfiction.Net with my pony stories. It feels wrong to only be uploading in one location, so now both sites will be getting the content and you can choose your preferred site to see it on. (Pls still like and fav in both places tho, my ego needs it)

Bish, I did exactly what I wanted to.

So, for those that have been tagging along with these pointless blogs, you'd know that in the last one - around four weeks ago - I stated that I was really bad at using filler material and just jumping straight into the main plot point.

    The Writer's Weakness

So as is with everything that everyone does, it is hard to do it flawlessly without practice. There will always be a small mistake that appears meaningless in the grand scheme of things, but may be of monumental proportions to the one doing the mistake.

A Good Sign for the Future? · 9:45pm Jul 8th, 2016

So it's been around 2 and a half months since I last updated and of that time, I have put probably two hours into not the next chapter of Starswirl's Wish, but the future of it. Some new problems have arisen within my writing process, however a big one has left the scene.

Bad news first:
In late May I got a job at my local McDonald's, so I will be working quite often over the summer and even a decent bit following the start of my senior year in September.
I also have a four month old brother, John "Phoenix" that I have to take care of frequently throughout the weekday afternoons and on Saturdays due to my parents' work schedules. Nix is a double-edged sword though as he keeps me from playing online games like Team Fortress 2 and Overwatch which for those of you that have been following me for a while are a big problem for me and procrastination. However, I do have some good news regarding that...

That being, thanks to the newest update of Team Fortress 2; the Meat Vs. Match Update; having ruined the pubbing experience of the game and myself not caring for competitive TF2 anymore, I have decided that I am officially retiring from Team Fortress 2 after 4,300+ hours of gameplay. I will be selling my inventory off on the Steam Market and only play the game when a good friend asks me to or I am incredibly bored. If Valve fixes the public gameplay, maybe I'll play again, but far from regularly like I had been; that's what Overwatch is for now.

Tl;dr I am far less likely to laze around now. Besides when I'm working, I will likely be using my time to write more frequently than I have in the past three years. I hope that this sees an influx of enjoyment between my stories and you, the readers.

Stay breezy my friends.
