The Lunar Samurai

If you are enjoying my stories, I thank you. Nothing means quite as much to me as someone really appreciating what I put out into the world. So, from the bottom of my heart... Thank You.

So, long story short, I may not have another chapter by tomorrow. It's still possible, but I spent the better part of last night babysitting my dog because he's progressively getting worse. My mom woke me up this morning in tears saying that we may have to put him down today or tomorrow. I wasn't expecting it this soon, but I was aware that he wasn't going to be here for much longer. That said, this next chapter is, without spoiling anything for you, incredibly important to me. I want to make sure it's perfect, mainly because the scene deserves it, but I think you guys deserve it as well.

So yeah, if I do release a chapter tomorrow, know this: it won't be a half-assed attempt. If I can't release it, know that's because I can't juggle all of these emotions at once and refuse to let the story suffer because of it.

I love you guys, you're the best.

:pinkiesad2: *Gives you a huge bear hug* I understand, family must come first, I say, and your dog is very much a family member! Being there for him while he passes on is something every pet owner should be able to do for their beloved pet.
If you can get it out, great! If not, still fine. I also understand the importance of certain chapters. Take your time if need be and make it the best it can be! :3 Stay strong and I hope even through all the grief and pain you can find something that can bring a smile to your face today. :3

Do not try to push it, Lunar. *Gives a massive hug*

Dog comes first, as hes family. :fluttercry:

Family comes first.

You ahve all my sympathies dude. Two years ago our golden retirever died. Had that old boy for fourteen years. Very long time.
Sadly we were having financial issues and couldn't take him to a vet or anything. So we were planning to sadly pull an old yeller and bury him out in the country.

The next morning, when we were planning on doing it, after giving him as much love and attention as we could the day before, we found that he had passed during the night. I remember it too well. Late into that night i got up to give him my last goodbye. In the morning, knowing it would be soon, i went outside to give him another one, cause he was more than worth it. And there he was, just lying on the ground, still warm but not moving or breathing anymore.
It was like he had let go, just to spare us from harming him.
