Crackshipping and You: A Series · 4:45am Jun 28th, 2016
Now, I've mentioned this a few times, but it is finally time to get this party started! CrackShipping and You is a new collaborative project between myself and Misago, a talented friend of mine that I frequently employ as a pre-reader and general idea bouncing board.
These little prompts are written by taking a randomly generated pairing and trying to work out some way to match them up. While some of these are just friendshipping, the idea is to go for something romantic. We each write a short scene or story and compare notes on what worked, and what didn't. The purpose of them, is primarily to help loosen up logjams in my mind when I run into them with my in-progress fics, and it's worked splendidly!
It's also yielded some genuinely good stuff too.
Now, in case you're wondering why I didn't post these all together in a single collab, ala the Twilestia Collab...well, it's the simple fact that those story collections tend to get little attention after the initial release. In this case that would be a hindrance because the better writing comes near the later parts. I want them to receive their fair share of views and likes and whatnot. They will be all linked to each other as they come out. The list on the story page is the current ones already written and will have more added to them as they are generated.
For starters, we have Sunset and Berry Punch hitting it off and I hope you all enjoy it, as well as help me convince Misago he needs to publish his own stuff for a change!
Look for new additions in the coming weeks, and don't worry, my other active fics are not taking a back seat. This stuff is what I do when not having Sunset and Adagio slap each other around or have Twi and Cadance make kissy faces at each other while battling changelings. Those fics will continue at their regularly scheduled paces.

Some of them have been seen before - Celestia x Amira, Celestia x Rarity - but it's what you two do with them that will be worth reading. Will they all be under your name, Fuzz?

Yes, I'm going to do the hosting for the fics, since Misago doesn't have anything on his account(and is still being a bit of a pansy about it. He has a lot of talent, so I'm really hoping feedback with these give him a much needed confidence boost). I imagine that some of them will be...hmmm..normal? But you know me, Brunn, I can't let a bad idea go until it quirks.
