Should I "sell out"? · 6:42am Sep 6th, 2012
I'm considering being a naughty little turnip and garnering some attention the easy peasy way. You know, the way that will get all sorts of eyes to come my way that will forever look forward to more of my work in the future.
I of course refer to... a random one-shot story with a humorous hook.
Should I? That's ultimately up to me, of course. Is there a good reason to? I want people to read my other works. Is that a good enough reason? ... Only if I actually keep updating said works in the first place. Considering that most of my time goes into art right now and I've only been writing when my heart's into it, it probably wouldn't help me very much if fifty new people came and read stories that are hardly even started in the first place. There isn't much point to that, right? However, if I do end up getting my writing hooves back, I may very probably dip them into the dark side a little and write something short and cute that will assault the feature box as soon as it emerges from my computer.
Until then, uhm... I'd better keep writing the stories I've got
This has been your random thought of the day.
Go for it....
