Slice of life is about the only thing I can write properly that does not involve complete devotion of the heart.
I guess this is okay, but nobody's ever going to hail me as a master writer if all I do is little everyday things, ahaha... The most epic or gripping of tales do not center around the everyday life of Ponies, after all.
Oh well~
I think a slice of life story can be just as good as a story of any other genre.
329605 Not to be picky about such a thing as word choice, but while I can agree that they can be just as good, I don't know if they can be just as great, if you can understand how I mean it. In most cases, I think there's a lack of something there that can really be moving to a reader. It can be just as funny or just as cute as anything else is, of course, but you probably have to introduce some new element for it to be able to really become something greater or more powerful.
I'm doing a really bad job of explaining what it is I mean here, but I swear it makes more sense in my head
330832 I think slice of life can be of the same quality on any level as, say, adventure. Maybe that's just me, though.
And by the way, what you said made perfect sence to me. So don't worry about it.
