    Update Tonight

    Hey everypony,

I'm back. And back writing too. I've finally found some energy and inclination to get back into writing, and have managed to hash out three more chapters of 'Crossing the Rubicon'. Expect sporadic updates, starting tonight.

    New Year, New Problems

    Hello everypony,

I hope you all had a great Christmas and decent start to the new year. I figured it made sense to update you on what's going on at the moment.

Well, my new year hasn't exactly got off on the best of starts. I'm going to be starting a new job next week, and it means that I'm finally going to move out and have my own place.

Plans for the Hiatus · 4:23pm Jun 20th, 2016

Well, first off, Happy Summer Sun Celebration, everypony! Personally, I can't stand this time of year; my hayfever is going nuts.

Stupid prevalence of autoimmune diseases in first world countries. :twilightangry2:

Anyway, in addition to all that, we are now once again on hiatus. No new pony until sometime in the autumn. :fluttercry:

This is just a rough outline of my plans for the moment during the off-season break. I'm actually working on quite a few things.

I am, of course, going to finish 'Tales from Day Court', which is now completely written with eighteen chapters in all. I have two stories in the works after that. They are both also spin offs of 'My Family and Other Equestrians'.

The first I have titled as 'Lessons from Ponyville Elementary'. This one will follow Bones' mother as she works with Cheerilee as a teacher. Whereas 'Tales From Day Court' focused on the Royals and Canterlot, this next story will be set mainly around Ponyville, following the everyday happenings at the school, as well as tying in with various episodes from season 5 and early season 6.

The second, and last, of the spin offs will focus on Lizzie and her new life in Equestria. While I haven't got a title yet, I have got a rough story plan set out. As with the other two stories, it would be a mixture of stories of my own creation, as well as tie-ins to relevant episodes. As this one will focus on the Weather Patrol, it will most likely be a mix of Ponyville and Cloudsdale, with Rainbow Dash as a key supporting character. The story will revolve around Lizzie's time in the patrol, and may also move toward Rainbow's time in the Wonderbolts (don't worry, Lizzie won't be joining them; occasionally I can write characters that aren't a total Gary Stu :trollestia:).

Anyway, since both of those will be around the same length as 'Tales From Day Court', they should see us well through this hiatus, and probably the next one too.

So, what do you guys think, do these ideas appeal to you?

I like the idea of Lessons from Ponyville Elementary, I like the crusaders after all.

4046481 I'm starting to write it this weekend. :derpyderp2:
