    Changeling in S6 E17

This episode kind of makes me wish I'd started writing Pony Persona sooner, because they've taken things in a direction very similar to mine. [small spoiler] It's not a coincidence that one of Piv's strongest memory fragments is of the battle in Canterlot; that is where he also was struck with the realization that there might be another way. Also, based on the episode it seems like changeling

    My Dog's Ok!

Part of her stomach had died and needed to be removed, and she had an unrelated issue with her gall bladder called a mucus seal that had caused it to swell such that it needed to be removed before it burst, but my Bloodhound is ok! She seems like her old self right now, but I'm told she needs to be kept from any strenuous activity while her incision heals back together. Her incision staples

    Dog in Surgery

I had to take my Bloodhound (not the cute St. Bernard featured in my profile pic) into surgery today for Bloat, caused by her spleen twisting around her stomach and preventing the normal flow of materials. Left untreated Bloat is 100% fatal, usually within a day, as the effected region will swell and then burst from accumulated gas.

Chapter 6 of Pony Persona is up!

It took me some time to figure out how I wanted this scene to go, but I'm happy with the results.

    Pony Persona, Phase 2!

The first five chapters that I've got published now were phase 1, and now I'm trying to figure out phase 2. I know what needs to happen during phase 2, but I'm still fuzzy on the specific scenes that will make it happen. I think this segment will need some careful planning so that I don't end up making a mess for myself to clean up later on! :raritywink:

I had to take my Bloodhound (not the cute St. Bernard featured in my profile pic) into surgery today for Bloat, caused by her spleen twisting around her stomach and preventing the normal flow of materials. Left untreated Bloat is 100% fatal, usually within a day, as the effected region will swell and then burst from accumulated gas.
The good news is I was informed about this condition, and knew to rush her to my vet the moment I recognized the symptoms, so she got into surgery in plenty of time. Her prognosis is as good as can be expected for a dog in surgery, and I am hopeful that I will have her back safe and whole in the near future. I will know for sure within the next two days.
