This episode kind of makes me wish I'd started writing Pony Persona sooner, because they've taken things in a direction very similar to mine. [small spoiler] It's not a coincidence that one of Piv's strongest memory fragments is of the battle in Canterlot; that is where he also was struck with the realization that there might be another way. Also, based on the episode it seems like changeling feeding is not inherently harmful to the sources of love. This revelation messes up a segment of
