Story Idea:
(Note: To simplify, Rival Is called Aurora)
Ok, we start out in the small hamlet of ________ Town, where our hero lives. Their childhood friend (opp. gender, named Sammy) lives there as well. Recently, a new person came to town because they want to become a pokemon trainer (Your rival, you decide gender and Name). After an encounter with a wild shadow pokemon ambush of which Professor Hawthorn saves you from, gives the player, Aurora, and Sammy a starter pokemon. (Rival choses type advantage over you, friend choses type weaker than you.) After your rival challenges you to a battle, you set out on adventure.
As you go along, arriving at Sandshore Town, you meet up with Sammy, who gives you the Pokegear-NXT and teaches you how to catch pokemon. You continue on through Route 3, You arrive at Ozeano City, and Fight Gym Leader Brendan. Continuing on to Route 4, you encounter Galileo in Awakening Cave(*). After that, you continue on to Orange Town, Where you encounter Galileo again(*). After Route 5, You arrive at Peony City, Where they first encounter Team Oblivion as they test out shadow pokemon. After defeating them, you fight Gym Leader Kuzzle, then continue on. When you try to leave the city, Aurora challenges you to a battle.
When you arrive at Roslyn Town, you encounter Galileo again(*). After the battle, you fight Gym Leader Troy, receive the bike, and continue to Route 8. At the entrance of 8, you encounter Team Oblivion's 2nd in command and a few grunts attacking someone, who is reveled to be Champion Joseph. You team up and fight them off, and are given a way to heal shadow pokemon. Arriving at Voln City, you fight Aurora, then can game as much as you want. In order to continue, you have to find Kamek, who runs the city, and you challenge him. when you win, he gives you a package to deliver to Gym Leader Marvin. Going to Route 12, You arrive at Amper City, Give the package to the person blocking the door to the Gym, and fight Marvin.
Traveling through Route 11 to an island, you arrive at Torchwood City, and help Gym Leader Joshua calm down pokemon inside a volcano. You then fight him in his gym. Sammy then calls you and tells you to get over to Alnico City, going back to Azalea City and taking Route 9 and 10 over to the city. While you go yo the city, there is an increase of shadow pokemon on the way there. Arriving at the city, Shadow Pokemon are running amok, and it is revealed to be the cause of Team Oblivion. After stopping Oblivion, You fight Gym Leader Navieka and take Route 13 to Langdale City.
On the way to the city, you take a detour through a cave and encounter Galileo and Caroline(*) after going though Galileo's world, Sammy and Hawthorn bring you back to your world and bring you to Lorhill Town, a small town that connects Route 13 and 14. Hawthorn reveals that the shadow pokemon are caused when a pokemon is teleported without a pokeball, and that several teleporters were stolen by Team Oblivion. You continue on to Langdale and fight Gym Leader Nathan. You continue to Frontier City through routes 15 and 16, with the safari zone on route 17, on a split between 15 and 16. When you arrive at Frontier City, you encounter Aurora again, and whether or not you win, they tell you that they are trying to find the base of Team Oblivion. You then fight Gym Leader Urther. On the way though Route 18 and 19, you arrive at Shiverburn Town.
When you arrive, you meet Galileo again (*), he gloats, Caroline appears, revealing the base, and you fly to the Oblivion HQ, with Aurora and Sammy in tow. You arrive and split up, fight through a lot of grunts, and arrive in the throne room (*) Galileo reveals that the process for taking pokemon has begun, and you do the two fights with him. After winning, Caroline appears with Hawthorn and the Champion. After this, no more shadow pokemon appear in the world. You fly back to Shiverburn Town, continue through Route 19 to Victory Road. When you arrive, Aurora challenges you to one last fight. When you win, they let you through. Arriving at the Elite 4, you fight them and the Champion and win.

Evil Team:
Team Oblivion
Their goal is to rid the world of pokemon by moving them to another dimension, unknowingly making them shadow pokemon. Their goal has merit, however, due to the increase of wild pokemon appearing in populated areas and attacking non-trainers, although it is their fault in the first place.
Second-In-Command: Yuri
Yuri is cold, calculating and ruthless, using any means necessary to help Oblivion. He believes that pokemon are a threat to all, and only uses shadow pokemon because they are like him.
Leader: Caroline
Caroline is compassionate, although acts strict so she doesn't seem weak. She believes that although pokemon are not inherently bad, the appearance of shadow pokemon shows pokemon are becoming too dangerous to have around.
Leader 2: Galileo Castor
Refer to this.

Superboss suggestions:
Your Rival Aurora, who disappeared after Victory Road. They are found at the top floor in the Tower of Legends as the current leader.

After-story suggestions:
With Team Oblivion disbanded and a lot of wild pokemon gone, the player can go to Galileo's world if the player has Hoopa. (The player can catch Hoopa after becoming champion, it roams around the map) When they arrive, there are some high level shadow pokemon. You can find Livia there, and you can talk to her. She is glad that there are pokemon, although they are shadow variants, and warns the player that Galileo is still trying to find a way to get revenge. There isn't much else there in Galileo's world, it is a barren wasteland after all. There is also the Battle Zone, where pokemon not normally found in Tahrio can be found. You can get there by taking Route 20 from Torchwood City there. The Battle Zone contains The Battle Frontier; which holds the Tower of Legends and Arena, The Resort, and The Wilds contains Routes 21 to 23 which contain rare pokemon and has the entrance to Galileo's world. The Tower of Legends is a long and constant climb up, with no healing stations, pitting the player against many pokemon trainers, the 8 gym leaders, elite 4, the Champion, and at the top, your rival; all at high levels. If you leave the area, you gotta start all over. The Arena lets you rematch opponents you have previously fought, and trainers from around the pokemon world.

One of my personal ideas is:
The Pokegear-NXT. In an attempt to create a do-all device, the Newly eXperemental Technology (Blame the Professor Hawthorn) was made. It combines many of the features of previous items like the PokeNav and Poketch into two items. The watch and the phone. The watch is used for mini apps and keeping track of your pokemon, while the phone is for contacts/calling, the map, and the Pokedex.

Before I make my real comment, I need to make this very clear: My gym battle, or battle in general, is NOT canon in the game. I decided that after I discovered there actually is another place in the real Pokemon world called Azalea Town in Johto. And me never playing any Johto games, I wasn't aware of Azalea Town at the time. So, just a heads up, alright?

3981490 I know you aren't canon as a Gym Leader, so I incorporated you in a different way, but thank you for pointing out the Azalea town thing. Fixed the town name.

Alright, I like this!

Obviously none of my ideas are fully set in stone yet, but it's nice that people are making things for me and my wacky ideas. There will obviously be a few changes over the course of the next few months, perhaps even years, but for now... uh... yeah, I'm pretty much out of inspirational shit to say.

Cheers mate! :rainbowlaugh:

Glad to hear it! And hey, just hearing that my idea is even remotely good makes my day. Can't wait to see what happens!
