Okay, just to be clear... · 2:23am May 7th, 2016

I uploaded an obscenely long poem a long while ago that was basically a plug for my newest work: Daring Do and the Sacred Stones.

I've been wanting to do a Daring Do fanfiction for a while, so I'm really happy I managed to get this one underway; I've been planning this one out for months and really honestly hope I don't hit any dead patches like I have been other fics where it's almost like I want nothing to do with it for a while.

Now, as a note, it is based somewhat off the trilogy of books written by G.M. Berrow - The Daring Do Adventure Collection - and will contain references to those in addition references to already in-show canon. I am putting this in as a fair warning. I have also decided to go a little into the Mesoamerican roots of Ahuizotl and have included a few things that probably aren't in either source but sounded good as part of this new work.

Be warned, this is my first time writing action, so any feedback on fights or chases is always appreciated. And since it has a really low view count, go on over there and give it a read, please. :pinkiehappy: :rainbowdetermined2:

No worries so far. I write a lot of action scenes, so if you need some advice, I'd be willing to take a look at anything that needs editing.

I see nothing so far that's of a serious concern. My one complaint is that your pacing is a bit slow: the third chapter didn't have a lot of sustenance, and it felt like mostly fluff. I feel like something more should have happened to keep the readers interested.

But you're doing well so far. I look forward to more.

It contains a few small things that will be important later. But I can't say too much otherwise the secret shall be spoilt.
