Clearly, I'm a rapper in another thread of the multiverse. 
Well, it's been a while, at least for me. About a month, effectively, if you count the Easter break. For those who may not have seen my "heads up" post before this self-imposed hiatus started, I'll quickly recap: Since Easter, my folks have been in town visiting us. They usually do visit us around Easter each year, but this time, we we also timed their visit with the start of a long overdue kitchen remodel in our house. My parents were awesome to stick around and house sit for us while the work was being performed. I keep my writing hobby very close to the vest, so I had to go off the grid, for all practical purposes, until everything was completed.
Alas, some delays from part suppliers have left us with the kitchen 98% done, but it's fully functional at least. But, my folks had to head home to take care of their own home and such, so I'm back online! 
Not that I've been totally inactive though. I've been reading and commenting on stuff, and sneaking in a few minor asks from some con folks too (more on that below!) So, here's a laundry list of topics I want to cover in one stroke:
Fic Updates
1. Pegasus picked up a burst of accolades, including features from EQD and the Royal Guard. It was also tagged as a finalist in the EFNW "Scribblefest", and while it didn't take home a trophy, it held its own against some very talented competition. My thanks once again to my editing team for another fantastic job. You guys rock. 
2. Wrong Place, Wrong Time is in the hands of the judges for Ocalhoun' Big 250K Contest. There's also a "fan choice" award up for grabs in the contest, so check out all of the entries and vote for your favorites! (more details on this in an upcoming blog post)
Con News - EFNW Time!
GMP? On a con's writing panel? It's far more likely than you think! 
Indeed, I am honored to announce that I have accepted an invitation from EFNW's writing track team to serve as a panelist this year. Specifically, I've been asked to sit in on the Pony and Character Psychology panel, where I'll be joined by BronyWriter, WebofHope, Heartshine, and PiquoPie. Needless to say, I'm incredibly honored and humbled to participate, but I'll gladly admit to being a bit nervous about sharing a stage with so many uber-talented folks. Wish me luck for sure. 
Still, that opportunity doesn't happen without your support, comments, and continued patronage of my stories. So thank you again, from the bottom of my heart. 
Story Updates
I've got a quite a backlog of tasks and fresh ideas, but I'll try to play catch up as best I can. Here's what's on the top of the "to do" stack for now:
1. Finish next Red Shoes chapter
2. Edit a short (prompt based) Applebloom story and get it ready to publish
3. Catch up on some editing tasks for a couple of friends
4. Binge watch the episodes I've missed and check for new ideas

Welcome back, and I look forward to seeing you again at EFNW. I'm also gonna be a panelist this year! I'll be on Critique and Criticism, and I imagine I'll probably hang out doing the ORCs and being an auxiliary for the Fanfiction Advice and Mixer panel and so forth.
