I'm currently in the process of writing the next chapter for LRSF. This one will wrap up everything that they will be doing in Equestria proper.
More importantly, this chapter is far enough along that I'll be able to finally start working on PSDAL. Once I get both this chapter done and the next chapter for PSDAL, I'll once more start working on alternating chapters.
The reason for the hiatus was backstory; I simply didn't have a clue what had happened during all of the events that will be referenced in the next chapter in PSDAL. I had the general picture, but no details. Writing the chapters I have for LRSF has allowed me to lay the groundwork for later chapters in PSDAL.
Of course, I could hold off on PSDAL until LRSF is done. However, I would really like to get back on my first story. I started it back in May of last year, and would like to have it done before I finish this one. In fact, since nothing of what happens in the Caves of Memory gets referenced until much later, I could very well finish up PSDAL completely before LRSF.
I won't though; I'm anxious to see the final confrontation between Rainbow Dash and Sombra. Or Sombra's Shade at any rate.
In any case, I'm now far more satisfied with what I wrote in the preceding chapter, as what I've written so far clears some things up.
Hope you all like what I've done. Also, I'm looking for cover art for both stories. Anypony know where I could get some?
