But why? · 1:39pm Apr 19th, 2016
Does that look like the face of an angsty teenager to you? Why would you write about him being abused/taking revenge and treat it as canon?
I'm at work right now, but I'll post some more later.

He's obviously abused.
He's a BABY and Twilight force him to clean shelves and cook things no one will eat. And he keep being smashed by doors and stuff, so him being abused is canon.
He should really flee these awfull ponies and start his own group of friends. And call them the Scales Six or something.

I agree with this.

You talk like people smash him doors on purpose, which (Spoiler alert) they don't. Plus, he genuinely enjoys being an assistant. Especially for what is basically his mother figure, as Twilight has looked after him and raised him since hatching. He's also had his odd moments of glory like playing a MAJOR role in saving the Crystal Empire from another period of slavery.
Point is, to be abused you have to either be forced against your will or not be capable of giving proper consent due to not being old enough to understand what abuse truly is. Spike is not that young, he's likely early/mid-teen by this point in his life. And maybe Twilight pays him in pocket money or something, how would we know? Spike is not a slave and is not being abused.
I'd abuse that silly mare up there.
With my penis.
And if anyone disagrees they can fite me.
Because he's a baby, and babies, like all children, are pure evil.

You really need to be a better sarcasm detector.
Huh, Twilight was a cyclops when she was younger.
Who knew.

I have to quote that now.
