I made a huge mistake when updating Riven Gloom! There is an entire chapter missing right now, causing a huge jump in the story. I'm so sorry I didn't notice this ages ago!
I am setting out to fix this as we speak, and hopefully you'll be willing to give it a fresh read in the meantime. Again, sorry about that, I feel it probably lessened the quality of the story immensely. 
UPDATE: So the story has been fixed, if you'd like to read the new content, you'll find it in Chapter 2! (What was previously Chapter 2 is now Chapter 3). Also, the rest of the content is still there and unchanged, it was just scooted back by one chapter!

3880856 No kidding! I wouldn't have noticed it at all if I hadn't decided to reread over chapters 1 and 2 again. Thank goodness I did notice though, I'm wanting to use chapter 1 at the ORC this year, and if within the 3 days chapter 1 gets finished (not necessarily likely), I wanted to move right into chapter 2. If I'd have brought it in the way it was, it'd have been so confusing.
