So I worked a double today, which is par for the course in retail. It was so I could have two days off in a row to more properly survive a trip to Disney this week. Then I found out that I'd have to call tech support at the end of my shift and get their assistance in setting up and syncing up a register cpu. I was told it'd last forty minutes at worst. Okay. So I got on the phone, and I'm still with them three hours later. On top of that, the switching of the cpu messed up the deposit forcing me to reopen the safe and recount everything andadfkafklajfdalkfsj--long story short, I didn't get home until 1:30am. I had dreamt of shitting out a oneshot or something, but that's now dissolved. Whatever. Would probably have been horrible anyways.
You know what isn't horrible? "Ask Me Anything" threads. And it's been about three weeks. So. Fuck it.
Ask Me Anything, y'all crazy marsupials. After I'm back from Disney, I'll start responding over the course of the week and into the next State of the Lemur. I can't promise to answer *every* question, but... well... entropy and all that.

It's very much the cliche in Disney movies for the parents to be dead (or at least effectively removed from the main storyline, which is rare enough as it is), Merida having both parents probably wouldn't have happened if the movie wasn't actually ABOUT her relationship with them.

3852562 By "hints", I really mean "jokes". I think there was one somewhere in the Quade arc, and in some blogpost I'm pretty sure he made some joke about more than twelve books. My memory could be faulty, but my question stands.
EDIT: Found the blogpost reference. Looks like he just said it would take "another three years, at least", and somebody extrapolated that to mean 12x12 books. Can't find the in-story joke.

3853047 It's quite good, but you do need to have the right expectations. It's only loosely based on the movie, but then it'd have to be to be turned into a multi-year TV series. The writers obviously put much effort into plotting out the first season, carefully laying out all the causality issues created by time travel.
