Post Convention Wrap Up

So, that was a very fun, enjoyable THING. I actually thoroughly enjoyed Whinny City Pony Con. For it being my first MLP convention, it was a blast, certainly much better then MFF (Midwest Fur Fest) last year... or was the year before... whatever, it sucked and was boring and I really shouldn't have gone to it. Anyway! On to the rundown and stuffs, since I saved up for this con (MFF was a spur of the moment, being one month later, no real saving up, so I couldn't get things...) I got... a lot of awesome stuff.

THURSDAY:
I arrived at the hotel around 4 pm, and decided to wait in the room for two and a half hours for Witching Hour, and her brother Jinxy. Since I was providing them a room for the con (Same rate for single bed or two beds.. so why not?) After a fun game of Text and Seek, we met up, had Red Robin (My first time) and then registered for the Con. After that we kind of lounged and relaxed, unwound from driving, and got to know each other better.

FRIDAY: (Beware the pictures.)
So, Friday... what a day that was. I went into the vendor hall with close to 300 cash, I walked out with a little over 100 left. Needless to say there was A LOT of cool stuff, and by far the MOST impressive piece I saw was 600 dollars. http://shottsy85.deviantart.com/art/Princess-Luna-356823033 This lovely piece here. I was blown away and sadly the pictures I took are on my shoddy phone and not worth posting. Though the rest of what I got...sans some pieces...are. I also got to meet Calm Wind for a little bit and Night Scribbler, before they went off to the Gala, which I did not attend. Witching did and her brother did as well, for a short time anyway. While they danced, I played a few games of "Are you a Changeling?" And... while I one once (Technically twice, actually) I was never voted out. I want the picture of the "Befriended changeling." It was cute and adorable.

SATURDAY:
So, Saturday was the day of activity and fun stuff. Spent a little more time (and money) in the vendor hall. This stuff I cant link because its a surprise for Sylvian. He was unable to make it (So was Destiny Brave Fire and Jim Hoxworth, sadly I didnt know what really to get them) So I wanted to make a little package to send to him. Witching and I got things (She pointed out, I nabbed) and within the week, his fanboy squeals shall be heard.

That aside, I spent more time with Calm Wind during the VIP Cocktail hour, and during a little concert too. I will let Calm go over how certain people reacted to him. But it was fun and amusing. And also got to meet Changeling32, I should see his little videos at some point.

SUNDAY: As with all good things, It must come to an end. Spent a little more time in the dealers room (And yes.. a little more money.) Had another meal with Witching and her brother, and got to say goodbye to them and Calm and Night scribbler, after attending the Sunday Guest of Honor panel. Had a fun drive home, and am now relaxing and going to enjoy the next few days before I return to work.
