Sunset of Time by The Albinocorn
Well... wow. This story was fucking amazing. Like, really.
Yes, it's tragic. Yes, its utterly sad. Yes, I am now feeling very existential. Yes, all of that.
But contained within those pages is an amazing story of the true power of friendship, and the magic it has to hold people together, and to keep them together even when it seems impossible.
Granted, it made me cry. And making me cry is no easy feat, mind you. But fuck me if I ever said that just because it made me cry, that I didn't like it.
Quite the contrary, actually. Some of the best stories I've read have made me cry. As a matter of fact, all of them (including this story), are on my favorites list, and you should really go check them out, if you haven't already. Those stories are amazing, and they truly deserve attention.
It's these types of stories that make me reflect on my own skills, and this story especially has made me go back, and realize something about my past works. (But I'll write about that later, when I'm not busy trying not to cry).
Anyways, this story was brilliantly heartwarming, while also utterly sad. So, if your heart can take it, I highly reccomend reading it.
Please do. Or at least go check The Albinocorn out. He deserves it. Even if you don't like really sad things, he has some awesome stuff for you to read. So please, go check it out.
As for me, I'm gonna' go drive a bus through the Alps until I stop crying, and go write something as amazing as this story.
