idunno I always have a hard time saying stuff like "this is my favorite" artist n stuff bc I have a really broad taste in music so it's hard to pin any one artist down at the moment.
what I do know, however, is that at the very least this artist influences me the most. whenever I think about making music I always think about them. I dont want to copy them or anything but I really enjoy what they make and hope to one day make music like it.

I'm not sure how to describe the music. I think I saw it tagged as vaporwave on last.fm but I don't think it's that. I can say it seems to be deeply rooted in plunderphonics and slowing, pitch shifting, and chopping up samples. but it vaporwave isn't really it. maybe vaporwave if it was more rooted in rave music, drone music, and noise music. anyways it's got a sort of disgusting, sludgy vibe to it that I absolutely loooooove.

I listened to some of that first album in the comments. It's certainly... something new to me. I mean, I get the appeal of noise drowning out the sound of everything else, I do like some music such as that, but I don't like there to be too much of it. There has to be just right balance. I do, however, know what you mean about it being like vaporwave. I don't know if you've ever listened to Chuck Persons Eccojams, but just in case you haven't I'll mention that Onichomp does remind me of this one track from it.

I know you're into the autonomic stuff that I link, but I'm not sure if you know that album. It's definitely got that futuristic/cyberpunk feel to it that you like so much.

ah yeah, I know what you mean haha but I've gotten to the point where I usually listen to harsh noise while I'm at work and it's really grown on me. yeongrak isn't quiet as far as harsh noise but I do get what you mean, it's pretty high up there on the noise vs music scale.
actually I have listened to eccojams but it was a really long time ago so I forgot about it and that song you linked from it was great and also reminded me that I really liked that album! also that autonomic album you linked, I listened to a few songs on it and it was absolutely fantastic! I should follow autonomic more closely...most of the autonomic stuff I've heard was linked to me by you and all of it has been really good stuf every time. Thank you again for the links!
