America's Economy - Better or Worse than the Past Economy? · 3:43am Mar 20th, 2016
A question that people ask themselves if our economy was better off without government interference.
Does it? Well... let's start from the end of the American Revolution. After the Revolution was won, the colonies found themselves poor because of so much funding into the war in order to win their freedom. They won their freedom, but found themselves unable to sustain an economy. With the patriots penniless and enraged, and without a power hand to stop them, they were planning a riot. And if that wasn't enough, they planned to have George Washington to become king. When it was revealed that he would not do so, they asked why. Washington stated they just fought a war against a king, how would it be any different with a King of America?
History shows multitude of corruption and ruthless kings in days of old. The tyranny of the King of Britain has proven that kind of power hungry corruption of ultimate power. With this knowledge in hand, and for the fact that all other forms of government had failed time and time again, it became clear that a new form of government was needed. Before someone asks, "How does this relate to the economy?" Patience, it will become relevant and clear.
After tiresome debates and processes of elimination, they established a new government that would no longer represent important figures, or demonstrate power, but instead represent the people of their country, and the very blessings of liberty they've fought so hard to earn.
In fact because of this newly established system with no powerhands to oppress and strike fear in the people, the people have managed to establish their own economy in which they were able to set up trades with other countries and sustain a fluent economy.(Regardless of the obvious illnesses and holes back then) The people have started thriving as they set up compromises, trades, and businesses. As for the poor people, there was always an alternative to trading.
Family wants dinner but can't afford a meal? They'd go hunting.
Roads are busted and needs repairs? They'd raise money.
Criminals comes to mug a man and no authorities are around? Never left home without a flintlock.
People and families have always managed to keep themselves fed, safe, and well sustained without the government hand.(Yes, regardless of the obvious things that occurred during these years, but that is besides the point.)
After many, many years of the economy growing, adapting, sustaining, suppressed crimes,(Keyword: suppressed, not gone), people were humbled and carrying out their day to day lives. Especially with the limitless possibilities that freedom has presented to them, which came the industrial revolution.
Now we arrive to the major hiccup that things have started to twist into the unwanted shit we have as a government today. The years before World War I...
The infamous Theodore Rosevelt, has written some papers that were signed off to become the democrats we the people know of today. Democrats never existed up until the papers were signed. I mean, come on. How come we never heard of democrats until modern day? It's because for the past 200 years after the revolution, they never existed. Because they weren't needed.
It's not really a surprise that the economy started to fuck up right after Word War I, which in the following years came the Ku Klux Klan, the Great Depression, etc etc, butI'm digressing.
These Socialist papers signed off by Theodore Rosevelt has been the ultimate virus in our economy today that's just being passed off as a normal thing today.
How does this answer the question about this blog? How does this show that the economy isn't good today? The answer... the economy was self-sustaining. Keyword: "Was". Now that the government has a hand after the Great Depression, we have now once again, come under the "Oh, we need the government becuase if... shit." The economy was fine by itself, it could take care of itself!
Because the economy, and America is by the people, for the people. That's why I think the government needs to fuck off.
