The ending of "The Comet, part 3" and the final resolution of the Cadence/Azula arc which, whether noticed or not, has been the driving force of the entire story up till now...was not all my work. While the eventual ending - Cadence having to live with being forced to kill Azula - was planned out from near the very beginning of the story...how it played out was very different - and so much better - than I'd originally planned.
While I did all the writing, the ideas behind how everything played out post the comet being stopped were given to me by my good friend, Dragonzero77, who has been a sounding board for many of my stories, and is one of my oldest and best friends, from before I was ever a part of the MLP fandom...from before I ever actually started writing out my fanfics.
So if you liked how it turned out, you can thank him for that.
...still wish I could have worked in plasma bending somehow...grumble grumble...
Hold up, hold up, PLASMA bending? Blood bending I can buy, metal bending, fine, explosion bending, OK, using Bloodbending to sever one's bending ability, a bit of a stretch but you can do the same with the Force, but PLASMA bending? How would that even WORK?

By using earth bending to contain water and air in a small space, water and air bending to turn the water and air into gas, and using fire bending under the comet's influence to superheat the gas into plasma.

I, wasn't actually expecting an answer. Huh. Well, that, actually makes sense. But it kinda does sound a bit far fetched. Seriously though, kudos on doing so well.
The next question is where does Cadance go from here? This death will haunt Cadance for the rest of her life. I wonder if she would name one of her children after Azula? Cause I get the feeling that Cadance will see if this is what is wrong with the bug that ruined her wedding.

3804220 Technically, two forms of plasma are already capable of being bent in-universe. 'Plasma' makes up a good portion of the human bloodstream; only about 30% of our blood is actual red blood cells. Ergo, blood-bending includes that plasma by definition.
The second is lightning. Lightning is an effect that is caused by plasma. So, technically, lightning-bending is a form of plasma-bending.
