Half the time I don't even know how I do what I seem to do so well. I try not to think too hard on it, for fear of breaking myself in the process.

I have an idea, and I need some feedback because this might be a big one

It goes without saying, I'm not the fastest writer around these parts. Not anymore at least. Anymore it takes time to get an idea figured out, written down, and refined to the point I want to release it for being read. But this doesn't lend itself well to getting the chapters and updates churned out. And unfortunately it leaves you with more ideas being backlogged than you want to admit. It

    Small update

Ever since the last chapter I've been stumped on what to do with the next chapter.

I'm happy to report that I'm 1.3K words into the next chapter, so things are slowly but surely getting done.

    Not dead

Neither I nor the story are dead as of the time of this posting.

Turns out writing Ulquiorra from the outside perspective of uninitiated ponies is a lot harder than I thought it'd be, and I'm having to spend a lot more time in the brainstorming stage than I'm accustomed to.

    Why?

Why is it so damn hard to write at times?

Why does the prospect of sitting down to type up an idea and give it physical form, seem to just suck the life and enthusiasm right out of you?

    A thought

The current chapters for HIE are proving to be a lot harder to write than I thought. Even harder when you've got distracted thoughts flaunting themselves at you.

HiE - I hate myself right now · 5:26am Mar 8th, 2016

Chapter 85 was supposed to be ready for release around this time. It's not like I've been goofing off or anything. It's just that the transition from one particular scene to another is just so hard to write since I gave more thought to the scenes before and after it, that I simply don't know how to do it. And I can't move onto the later parts either, so there's no help there.

Take your time man. Can't rush perfection. I'm currently reading through your story with my trusty wead waker cause of how many chapters u already have here. It's aww inspiring. Keep up the good work, currently just hit chap 50.

Keep at it: We're rooting for you.

Well, I'm rooting for you, at any rate. :twilightsheepish:

While I doubt this will make you feel better, I haven't really written anything for 'Seduction of the Innocent' other than a rough outline for the entire story back in October of last year. I came up with the idea of a side story some time in November and wanted to hold off on writing anything substantial until I finish reading certain books. Not to mention, my read it later bin has been filling up and I doubt I've read more than a third (if not a twelfth) half way through. In fact, I don't think I've read more than eight chapters of HIE in total. Even that was mostly before I signed up here, and it seemed really good and I genuinely want to see more.

Don't beat yourself up, man. We all have that kind of struggle when it comes to story updates. All you can do is ride it out and wait for the opportune moment to continue :moustache:
