"Midnight's Feast" On Pause This Week

So it looks like Gladi and I aren't going to get a chapter of Midnight's Wildcard Feast out this week. :fluttershysad:

That said, I do have another offering for you guys to give you your regular dosage of fatpone. :yay:

    WARNING: Story Incoming

Okay, guys I'm putting this warning out there for anyone who actually bothers to read my Blogs.

I've got a new story coming in the next 24 hours.

It is incredibly fetishistic, and not exactly for those who have weak stomachs or are easily offended, so if you go in expecting my normal, light-hearted comedic fare you're going to be remarkably surprised and most likely disgusted.

    Productivity Loss

So I bought Square-Enix's new fishing tour game (also known as Final Fantasy XV)

I just spent 6 in game days fishing.

    Electronic anime bishonen fishing.

    What has my life become?

    Ever-ready Battery to Power

    Four cylinder engine to speed.

Chapter 6 of Beetle & Blood, "There Will be Blueblood" is being flung back and forth between the pre-readers as I try desperately to choose which of their suggestions to follow, and should be ready tomorrow or Thursday.

Further Delays · 1:25am Feb 26th, 2016

I'm sorry.

I know it seems trite to open this blog like so, but I am honestly sorry.

People take time out of their days to read the stuff I write, when there are better stories out there, and more delays are holding back Chrysalis' Paradise Lost, again.

I've been making progress, but I wrote myself into comer regarding a couple of superlative scenes that can't just not be there for the sake of consistency, and I'm not enjoying writing them, it's the small transitions, and making the whole thing flow where my brain breaks down, and I worry in writing them that I'm not doing the story enough justice.

I've made more progress (1,000+ words, extra notes 75-90% done now), and there are only two more scenes to go, a mob scene that I'm struggling with, and the reveal on the assassin's lair which I have mostly planned out, I've never found myself struggling with describing places (besides avoiding pulling a Tolkien and spending two pages on a single bush).

I appreciate that the chapter isn't up when I said it would be, but I wanted to put the blog up so that you guys know I haven't just dropped it, and walked away, I have invested waaaay too much time and mental fatigue in this story to do so now.

Tolkien isn't that bad... :rainbowlaugh:

And hey, there's nothing wrong with slowing down when you hit a bumpy patch of road, right?
