New chapter coming soon!

Well, it's been an excruciatingly long wait, but I can finally say with confidence that Part 3, Act 2 of the Ponies Play D&D series is ready to post. I just need to proof-read it a few times, and it'll be done, so look for it on this site later tonight. My strategy of motivating myself by changing my avatar to something embarrassing until the story is done seems to have paid off, even though I missed my goal by a few days. In the interest of standing by my pledge, I shall remain a horse's ass until the story is posted.

The reason behind the delay is partly due to mt graduating from college and having little time to write for the past few months, but it was mostly a plotting problem that held me up. You see, my original plan for this chapter was for Rarity's character to pull off an in-game heist (as is Heat or the Ocean's 11 series), but it just wasn't coming off as believable. It took me until about December to realize that the plot didn't work with Rarity as the DM; it just seemed like she was manipulating the circumstances for her to come out on top. I made the difficult decision to scrap the story and start from scratch. I was locked into using Rarity from by the events of the previous chapter, but I was able to come up with a new storyline that I think works much better than the old one. I think I can salvage what I have of the old story as a side-story later on, but for now I'll focus on the main plot.
