New Audiobook by ThelifeonCloud9: All Nightmare Long

    Happy Nightmare Night, everypony!

As part of this year's Month of Macabre, ThelifeonCloud9 has released an audio production of my story All Nightmare Long. (Trivia time: Cloud9 got her start in fandom audio productions four years ago, with a bit part in Scribbler's production of another story of mind, Holder's Boulder.)

    Check it out below:

    Audiobook Directory

Over the years, several fandom YouTubers have created audio productions of stories from the Horse Voice bibliography. These are now very numerous, and so for the convenience of listeners, I have compiled them here.

Many thanks to those who liked my stories enough to create these great renditions.

    You Are Not Alone

This message is very, very late by the standards of the Internet. But my conscience won't let me rest until I say how I feel.

A week ago, news broke that former fan-author Jetfire2012 had taken leave of his sanity and picked a fight with an entire crowd... with predictable and well-deserved results.

Dear Ponies, Allow Me to Play You Out

Here in Canada, tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day. And so for myself and other Canadian bronies, the timing of Pony's finale, almost to the day, is quite fitting.

But really, who needs a red-letter day for thankfulness? This event may be bittersweet, but we can all be thankful for the good times, for the lessons that help us, for our creations, and for each other.

My Interview at BronyCon: Slightly Less Cringey Than I Expected

"Um, uh, uh, er, um, uh, y'know..."
    --Me

Surprise, everyone! One of my fans, Tyler Hinton, managed to find me at BronyCon 2019 and ask for an in-person interview. The result: About six minutes of me spilling my guts, interspersed with ten minutes of "um's." Luckily, Tyler edited the boring parts out, so my long, rambling answers don't drag on too much.

A special announcement · 6:02pm Aug 24th, 2012

Everyone, look at this. Now.

I've been dying to break the news all week. "The Savage Way" is now the fifty-first entry in the Pony Fiction Vault. Of those, it's only the fourth in the Human genre. The other three got in for being popular, for launching lots of spinoffs, and for being "Arddun Lleuad," respectively. It's also the shortest of the Vault's Human stories by a wide margin.

I'm getting flashbacks to my last couple of years of college: I do stuff, and people give me awards. I like it, but I don't understand it.

While I'm absolutely delighted about all this, it makes me wonder what happens now. For critical success in this fandom, I don't think there's anything higher than the Vault. I guess there's only one thing to do: start cranking out clop in a cynical attempt to increase my reader count. I've got an idea for something with Rainbow, Applejack, and a cucumber. Or perhaps some hot alicorn on diamond dog action. Ooh! Ooh! And there's this ordinary man, right, and he's dropped into Equestria for reasons unknown, and it turns out mares are really into kinky interspecies sex...

Just kidding! Horse Voice writing clop would be like KISS singing disco, or Bob Dylan switching to electric guitars, or Metallica writing ballads. That would never happen.

Anyway, I'm still aiming for a Halloween Nightmare Night release of my next story, but if there are too many interruptions (I have a life outside of ponies, you know) it will just have to be a "Season of the Witch" release instead. I'll try to put out one amusing or informative anecdote per week, so the horse skull isn't just taking up space in your "Following" list.

Big thanks to RBDash47 for letting damn dirty hairless apes into his nice clean Vault.

Until next time, be excellent to each other, and pony on.

Cheers,

Horse Voice

That's quite the compliment, sir.

Well, after EqD and the Vault, what else is there with quality standards? There are contests, but I don't work well with deadlines and content prompts. Someone was working on an e-zine called the Solar Flare Review, but that seems to be dead in the water, sadly.

If anyone knows of any more worlds to conquer, please let me know!

Not only is this great humor in general, but it works so well for arddun lleuad because everyone has such a strong opinion about it.:pinkiehappy:

Congratulations!

Have the guy read The Writing On The Wall as well? I believe it is the better one of your two stories and it definitely belongs in the vault.

I'm definitely looking forward to your new story as well, this human-in-equestria-screwing-ponies summary seems very promising :pinkiehappy:

Well, it's not like it doesn't deserve to be there, since the author essentially broke all the rules and made it work regardless.

>Have the guy read The Writing On The Wall as well? I believe it is the better one of your two stories and it definitely belongs in the vault.

Funny you should ask. He privately told me it was on the list for review. But only one guy, Thanquol, has made it to the Vault twice, so I don't know how my odds are. Fingers crossed.
