Hey man. It really is a pain in the ass, but do something active for about an hour, it'll really help. The adrenaline and endorphins will boost your mood and let you be able to do something. Depression's a bitch to fight solely mentally.

Look, I still have my father, but I know what you're going through. I lost my grandfather when I was probably 10, and that was probably the moment it hit home just how serious a life can be. Just the pure fact that he was actually gone, and the fact that there was so much more he wanted to show and tell me.
But, he's gone, and he did what he had to. And hopefully, so did your father.
One suggestion I have is that you find someone you can talk to, and I mean someone who isn't just a username behind a computer screen. I know that helped me in tougher times.
Well, that's my two bits. Break a leg, and know you're a good man.
